The monitor offers a wonderful picture quality. I work at a major motion picture studio and am around professional HDTV monitors all day. The Panasonic plasma tv gives as close to a "film" look of any Plasma display I have seen. The unit offers all the basic analog video inputs needed with one additional slot available for a future input card if needed.Panasonic plasma tv does offer an optional DTV input card for those who may want to input direct digital video. I did not purchase that card but may in the future.
